Broken Social Scene is pretty much the Kevin Bacon of Canadian Indie Rock.
We’ve put together an infographic to show the creative span of supergroup Broken Social Scene! The band has had more than 20 members who have formed their own bands, and in some cases those bands have featured members of other notable acts.
To emphasize the collective nature of the scene, we’ve also included several members who simply collaborated on recordings. For instance, KC Accidental was Kevin Drew and Charles Spearin’s band, but their recordings feature at least seven other BSS members.
Oh, and if you’re curious, BSS is only two degrees removed from Kevin Bacon.

Wow. Starring: Jon Wurster, Foo Fighters’ Nate Mendel, Aimee Mann, Duff McKagan, Moby, Blink-182’s Tom DeLonge, Weird Al, Helmet’s Page Hamilton, Jimmy Tamborello, and Ben Gibbard in a very ridiculous wig.
Should have gone with Page Hamilton.
